The Team

 Grace has experience with children and adolescents working in youth equestrian sports. 

Through years of working with young riders, Grace has developed a unique ability to connect and accommodate neurodivergent populations, particularly those diagnosed with ADHD and autism. The calm, structured environment of equestrian sports, combined with the therapeutic bond between child and horse, has provided a transformative experience for countless young people. Grace also became skilled in helping anxious clientele ground themselves while working with animals for the first time. This has given them insight into helping those that may have anxiety and skills in de-escalating those in a state of panic. 

Grace has worked as a lab assistant in a PTSD study at the University of North Florida and hopes to work with this population more as their career develops. They also hope to work with LGBTQ+ individuals, children, adolescents and those with BPD. Grace is receiving training in dialectical behavioral therapy. from Jada Helmer,  DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified Clinician™, LMHC-QS-MH. For self-care they enjoy talking with friends, trail rides, fiber arts, graphic arts, walks, and cuddles with their cat.
